Camping help?

Going camping with a bunch of 12-16 year old girls Friday night, we get back Saturday evening.  I have NEVER been camping before (can't stress that enough, lol); i'm excited but i have no clue what to pack clothing wise.  Anyone wanna help a girl out?  Also i am slightly freaking out because this will be my first night away from ike...yikes!

  • AHH bug spray just in case! I'm not sure how the skeeters do in the humidity (like today) but I would for sure bring some bug juice!

I always bring baby wipes for EVERYTHING...those are good to have to wipe yourself down.

Can't think of anything else right now, Totty seemed to cover the most basic essentials

Dude, you can't go camping without 'smores stuff.  It just wouldn't be right.

  • We just went camping last weekend.  It was cold & misted the whole time.  I heard it's supposed to be nicer this weekend though.  I wore jeans & a t-shirt + a sweatshirt or fleece shirt on top.  I went from hot to cold, so I just took off the sweatshirt until I was cold again.  I slept in a t-shirt & PJ pants.

  • I am jealous!  I want to go camping (and to have s'mores, duh)!  Sounds like everyone's got you covered on essentials though but I'll repeat the recommendation to take a tarp for under the tent!  You don't want to be sleeping in ick!
