I like Elle but I think it is too short, DH likes Ainsley but I don't love it.  I saw this name in a magazine and I thought it was really cute.

I thought it said Elise, but I'm dyslexic so maybe it's just me! I don't like Elsie, but Elise is pretty.

Elsie sounds like a nickname to me, but it isn't bad at all.  I do prefer Elise.  (Not the same name at all, but Eloise is also one you *might consider.)

The only Elsie I know is about 80 years old, I guess it fits with the what is old is new craze

I've loved that name for a long time. It's a nickname for Elizabeth. I also LOVE Elsa.

I read it as Elise at first as well. That's what we'll be naming our next daughter. I don't really like Elsie.

I think Elsie is cute. She might get it mistaken for Elise a lot though.
