Prayers please!

My friend had her twins last night.  She had been dilated to 3 cm 6 weeks ago (she wasn't due until 11/23) and has been in the hospital ever since, then last night she jumped to a 5cm and was 100% effaced, so they performed a c/s and took them last night.  3 pds 14 oz (boy) and 4 pds 3 oz (girl), they are in NICU, but seem to be doing well.  Any thoughts and prayers are appreciated! )

i think she was close to 33 weeks (the last belly pic posted was 30 and that was last week or the week before?).  Thank you, i'm glad they stayed in for as long as they did )

Congrats to your friend and will keep them in my prayers. My 33 weeker is home now and doing well so making it to 33 weeks is good. He was in the NICU for almost 1 month, learning how to eat was his biggest issue, the whole NICU thing is such an emotional roller coaster along with all the other emotions. I hope their NICU stay is short. The preemie board here has a lot of good info on it if she needs it.

Those are good sizes for twins at 33 weeks! Congrats to her! I agree with the pp about the preemie board. When we had a preemie in our home (30 weeker and drug exposed) they were very helpful. She and her twins will be in my thoughts! Preemies are tough sometimes, but they are strong little kids!
