    Is it bad that when a friend gets married, I think about how I hope they're the 50% that gets a divorce and not us? It's like wishing that they fail.

    Me too!  If I got one @sshole out of my life I figure I'm in the clear for a while.  Although the divorce diet was outstanding.

    I'd say you're in the clear, as long as you love your hubby more than your kids.  Stick out tongue

    I'm with the PP's when I hope my friends' marriages are the ones that fail and mine survives.  The 50% stat has always seemed a little on the high side to me.

    We have friends that are getting a divorce right now.  I am DEFINITELY not happy about it, but I did think about the divorce stats and had a momentary thought "Well, that's one set...who's next in our group?"
