chore/reward chart?

I'm thinking of getting one for Grey. It is no secret that my life is kind of chaotic and i feel like it is rubbing off on him. I think i need something like this to help him with learning to do certain things routinely (like picking up his toys and such).

If you have one you love, please recommend it (links are helpful) and also if you've been using one, and would like to tell me your "system" and how it works, I would love that as well.

i have a cool wood and magnet one that we got at target last year, we arent using it so i can talk to frank and hand it off to someone who IS going to use it?

Great question!

I am thinking of making my own.  Basically getting a piece of poster board and decorating it.  I will list his chores on one side, across the top list the days of the week (a few weeks at a time) and then he will get stickers next to his chore that day when he completes it.

we have a reward chart that I made that I'm using for potty training (if and when we actually do it).  It's just a grid that I created and added the days of the week across the top.  You could easily make it into a chore chart by putting in pictures of what you want him to do (e.g. a picture of toys to pick up toys or a picture of a bed if you want him to make up his bed or a picture of a hamper if you want him to pick up his clothes).  I'm just using some smiley face stickers that I got in the mail for ours.   I like the idea of creating your own - you could date them and save them if you wanted....have Grey draw a I'm so Proud of YOU picture on the back when he's completed everything all week.

oh my goodness I LOVE the 50$ one. But Benny would kill me if i spent 50$ on a chore chart!
