DS has chickenpox

We had lunch on Saturday with all the babies from our birthing class and one of the little girls had been exposed at daycare but they did not find out she had it until Monday.

Well today Lo wake up with one red spot behind his ear and that is the only one so far. He has had a slight fever and has been sleeping most of the day.

On top of that he has been teething and we are just waiting for a tooth to pop up.

that totally sucks!  ugh, sorry you have all of that to deal with right now.    and poor William!

FWIW, I've read that it is much less severe in infants than it is in older kids or adults.

That is so stressful, I'm sorry to hear that!  I had a similar situation with my DD when she was 8-9 months old.  She got a bunch of spots but it didn't seem to bother her at all - she never once tried to scratch them. She just slept more and was a little lethargic.  Hopefully that will be the same case with your DS.  She also had 2 teeth pop through during the same time - they bothered her more than the chicken pox!  Good luck and I hope it passes quickly!
