The music director at our school/church gives piano lessons in my music room after school on Wednesdays.  Fine.  Super.  Well, I have been babysitting her student in my classroom for 15 minutes while she's been MIA.  I finally had the office buzz her, and she was in the church giving another lesson (that she did not tell me about it) and wants me to stay in here and watch this kid until she's done.  "Ok, is that ok?"  No, it's not ok, but I'm not going to make an a$$ of myself in front of these kids.  Even though I'm not required to be here any longer and was planning on going home.  Fine.  I'll sit here because it's not this kid's fault.  I'm fuming.

I suggest a conversation with this woman when the 2 of you are alone. You are right that it is not the kid's fault but that is complete BS!

Yes, and she is so popular that there is a waiting list to become one of her students.  I'm sure it's a hefty price.

Charge her a babysitting fee.
