Okay, so I know TV is not real (Desperate Housewives)

But doesn't it seem a little far fetched that Lynette is having a second set of twins?  I know she's older and twins are more common in older women, but she seems too old to be having kids...

It just seems too unrealistic.

    Yeah it kinda does. I was taken by shock on the first episode this season. It's like she has pre-partum depression or something. Maybe she'll lighten up as time goes on...

    YAY! Another Desperate Housewives fan. I just love that show.

    I agree... Lynette having twins is just crazy. I also can't believe how Katherine is acting. She put on another woman's wedding dress! In my world, it would have never been okay for my friend to date my ex-husband in the first place, especially if I still had feelings for him (but not okay even if I didn't). To me that's just weird.

    I don't think it is that far fetched... she is obviously very fertile with all the kids she has, and naturally having twins once is the biggest risk (for lack of a better term) of having twins.  So, since she already had twins, she is more likely to have twins than someone who has never had twins.

    My husband has a cousin with 2 sets of twins out of 6 kids

    I totally agree!  I think pretty much everything they are doing on Desperate is far-fetched right now.  

    First, I'm CERTAIN that Lynette would have had her tubes tied or something after her last pregnancy, especially given how much she did not enjoy being pregnant and having babies.  Plus, I agree with you, Lucky, that she definitely seems too old to be having more kids.

    Also, not quite on this topic, but I also found it totally unbelievably that Katherine would make such a scene at Susan and Mike's wedding.  Her character up till then was too classy to embarass herself that way.

    Ditto!  That was ridiculous... and that she is STILL acting mad about it!  It is just childish... she had to pretty much trick Mike into proposing to her, she should have seen it coming!

    I can't believe Tom didn't get a vasectomy... wasn't there talk of it at one point?

    Yay!  Desp Housewives fans!! 

    I think something will happen to Lynette to make her realize she loves her babies that she is carrying.  Maybe a slight fall or accident and make her worry that everything is okay? 

    It was kinda funny how she made the poor pregnant girl cry in the waiting room though..

    I agree with prev post.. if Katherine had to trick Mike into marrying her then you know somehting wasnt quite right there.. he always loved Susan they just needed the closure from the accident to move on together..  I hope she gets over her scorned woman thing and it doesnt drag on all season!
