I was shocked by how he already knew how to do it...makes me think he has other children.

Sigh.  I wish this didn't happen so often, but I wish her luck.  I am not defending teen pregnancy at all, but I will say that DH's mother had his sister at 17 and him at 19.  She will tell you in a second how hard it was, but she did an absolutely incredible job raising them.  It can be done, if you work your ass off at it.

Wow. Looking back on all the shiit that I did when I was that age, I thankthelordgodalmighty that a) I didn't get pg (oh wait, I was on the pill, but still) and b) I didn't end up with my current boyfriend at the time. Life would have taken a totally different direction. GL to her.

I just read some of her posts and she does seem pretty together. Except her use of the word "like" I do wish her the best of luck, it can't be easy at 17. I don't even want to pretend what that is like.

My SIL got her beat. She got pregnant with triplets @ 15!! (Naturally obviously) You can imagine how happy my DH was. Here they are-mom's 18 now.

I've only read a few of her posts so I don't know anything about her, but her siggy made me burst into tears.

That is crazy!  The triplets are cute but at 15 I couldn't even imagine!

Wow!  I saw this girl when I was lurking on 3rd tri, but I didn't notice that she's only 17.  I thought something she said was kinda weird/clueless for a woman about to have a baby (like in response to some fact, that most of us would have read about in a pregnancy book or at least on the interwebz), so this sorta explains it.
