How long before DC's arrival did you??

1. Clean the "stuff" (carseat, playmat, etc)

2. Install the carseat

I don't remember when we did all of this getting ready for DD. I feel like it all needs to be cleaned really well because it has been sitting collecting dust for the last at least year. Although my ticker looks like I have 6 weeks to go my scheduled c-section is 5 weeks from yesterday... YIKES!!!

I did and plan to this time clean and install everything about 4 weeks before.

I cleaned all the stuff after I got it at showers, probably around 32- 34 weeks. ?We put the car seat in at 37 weeks.

2nd child: 3-4 weeks before due date

With Ben, about 37 or 38 weeks, installed the carseat.

This one will be lucky to get a carseat.  Just kidding.  But I imagine around the same time frame.

LOL - well, the first time, I was super ready and had everything cleaned and ready and installed between 34-36 weeks. ?This time, not so much!

This time, DH and my Dad installed the carseat while I was at the hospital (had planned to do it the weekend before my scheduled C/S when I realized time had slipped away) and we cleaned things as we got them out and used them because we didn't have the space for them to just sit around clean for weeks and Kylie would have played with them anyway and probably gotten them dirty.

Her clothes and stuff like that, my Mom and I did over Memorial day weekend, so I would have been about 3-4 weeks from my scheduled C/S

It was only a couple of weeks before my c-section that we got everything out of the attic and it took me a while to wash all the clothes and put them away.  I washed the car seat cover and then got my bases installed and turned Camryn forward facing at the fire dept. about a week before my c-section.   The last few weeks were so so busy, so get all you can done now. I wish I had had more time to rest b/c I didn't sleep as good at the end of this pregnancy and things were so hectic.  I'm tired now that she is here!
