or your DH to see your LO? Mine only coordinates through My DH which is annoying. What is so hard about calling me to set up a visit versus my husband? She sets up all visits through him and without sounding BIYATCHY I'd like that to change...hmpf!

That would be annoying!  My MIL babysits for us during the week so gets to see DS all the time.  She knows better then to make plans with DH tho, cuz i never find out about it until she is walking in the door!  LOL

MIL doesn't even know my cell phone number- she will only communicate with me via email which is ridiculous - she refuses to save my number in her cell phone.

Same here. I wouldn't want to change it. Is it because DH is giving an answer you don't like or not talking with you about it first?

No, she calls me- but we have worked together for 7 years so it's not weird for her to call me anyway. DH's dad arranges visits through DH, at my request. DH always clears the visits with me first though.

My MIL does everything through my husband too!  But I prefer it this way; because she doesn't really seem to respect me and my wishes with my son. 

It has been over 6 years and she still doesn't feel comfortable calling me.

She coordinates with my H, which is totally fine with me. She drives me up a wall, so I try not to talk to her unless I have to, lol

So call her up and schedule a time for her to visit yourself, before she gets the chance to call your DH.  Don't tell her that that's why you're calling her, just say "Hey, I was wondering if you'd like to come visit us on Tuesday afternoon"  This will give her the hint that you are okay with scheduling these times with her, and that all she needs to do is ask.

MIL doesn't ask... she tells. "THIS is when I'm coming to visit and THIS is what we are doing"

Sometimes she texts us both at the same time. That annoys me more than just talking to FI about a visit.

My MIL doesn't really care to coordinate with either of us to see DS.  That's why she's only seen him twice.  No skin off my nose, though.

he doesn't discuss it with me, he answers for me and hopes I agree! grrr
