what next? need veggie rec

So far Warner has done well with sweet potatoes, apples, and carrots. I was thinking that I should do a green vegetable next...any recommendations for something that your LO did well with?

not from my own experience but i have heard from 2 great friends that their LO's LOVED avacados ( i know its not a veggie)....they were about 5 months old

Ditto avacado... peas worked well for DD at that age.

DH really liked peas and green beans.  Sadly, he was not a fan of avocado.

Ditto peas and avocado.  DS still doesn't like green beans. 

If you want to wait on avocado a bit, try it after you've introduced bananas.  Bananas and avocado mix really well together.  DS loved that combination.

Maggie loved peas but has always hated green beans, whether I made them or bought them.  She never liked the peas I made either, only store bought - I think they were smoother texture wise - who knew peas had such tough skin.  If you are making it, Maggie also loved butternut squash, with a little bit of cinnamon.

We tried peas to no avail.  DD likes avocado and zucchini in the green category.  We're going to try asparagus tonight.  BTW she loves butternut squash.  All the orange ones are her favorites.

Xander loves Bok Choy, spinach and broccoli for greens. All puree well after steaming.  He's not a big fan of green beans.
