Flu shot availability in VA-Getting Scarce

WOW I had to call three different Giants to see if they had any flu shots available.  They have recordings when you call the Pharmacy numbers stating whether or not they have doses available.  I finally found a Safeway on Old Keene Mill Road that has Thimersol free shots (only for the preggie ladies out there).  Be sure to call ahead if you think you're going to go to Giant/CVS/Safeway etc.

    The Inova flu clinic was great. THey had lots of locations and the thimersol free shot. I went today so it's an option outside of the local pharmas.

    CVS on Lee Highway in Arlington also has thimersol free shots available.
