Henry just bought us 2 NSTs a week

He's being a little stubborn and won't move sometimes.  The nurse poked and prodded him and he ignored her.  Finally she woke him up with a buzzer and he started to move, but now we go back every Mon and Thurs plus my normal appt on Thurs. 

Of course I am happy to do anything the Dr says when it comes to Henry's health, but holy appts for the next week or so.

Well.. it is going to be a lot of appts.. but it will be reassuring to know that everything is going ok ?

I'm going once a week, but if my BP gets any worse I'm going to be in the same boat.  I'm sure going to be making a few trips to the library in the next 11 weeks!

Averie (DD1) bought me 4 visits in 5 days during the 38th week. It sucks, but it's so reassuring.

im right there with you, altho mine is due to the GD. I now have my OB, diatition, and 2 NST appointments a week.

Thats weird that you posted this. I just got back from my 34 week appt. and have to start with the twice a week NST's on Monday due to my blood pressure rising again. I get a growth ultrasound tomorrow and then go every Monday and Thursday in addition to my weekly Thursday checkups. At least you wont have to do it for very long!!

I've been doing this since week 32!  Although its inconvenient (and don't even get me started on the nightmare that parking is at our hospital!), it is so reassuring to hear her heartbeat so often.

non stress test.  Basically they just monitor his heart and make sure it rises when he moves.

1 go twice a week because they said the baby might have restricted blood flow. it may be a pain in the @ss but, i get u/s twice a week and get to listen and see him/her move. it is a huge relief. hopefully you will enjoy that part. i do.

Welcome to my world - I have bi-weekly appts with the MFM and my regular weekly appt with my ob as well as a weekly lab appt. since being diagnosed with pre-e 9 weeks ago.

Right there with ya! Twice weekly NST's plus regular appt's which just turned to weekly and BPP's. They try to combine my appt's and BPP's with my NST's but sometimes they can't accomodate that so I end up there 3-4 times/week.
