I ordered 2 carseats from them and the last I heard anything was Sept. 9th.  Yesterday i emailed them - nothing. Today I called and had to leave a message.

I've heard good stuff, but right now I am REALLY frustrated w/ them and their lack of customer service.

I used them..and it took a LONG time to get my carseat. The first one I ordred they ended up being out of and the second one I picked out ended up being backordered. I would keep contacting them, and I was pleased with the price and the carseat, but like I said it took a LONG time.

Well good to know it took someone else long too!  Luckily we dont' need them IMMEDIATELY, but cripes....  and the lack of response is what is getting to me too.  I'm giving them until tomorrow, then I'm emailing them AGAIN to try and find out where my carseats are. 

The prices are great, but the wait.... not so mcuh.

I don't have any experience with travelingtikes, but I had a bad experience with albeebaby when I tried to order 2 carseats.  They cancelled my order and did not notify me.  When I contacted them about it, it took a few days of emails and phone calls for someone to even get back to me and they were less than helpful.  I ended up ordering them through hipmonkey.com.  Their website says they will match competitors' prices.  I emailed them on Sunday and on Monday they replied and  agreed to match the lower prices. They claim the seats ship same day if the order is placed by 3 pm, CST but I just ordered them last night so I can't tell you if they are actually shipping them today.  If you get really frustrated with travelingtikes, maybe you can cancel your order.

I used adolcebaby.com whom is affiliated with them or run by them. It took me almost 3 months to get my carseat. I sent numerous emails and phones calls with little response and no action. I had to report them to the Better Business Bureau to get them to send me my carseat. I suggest that you do the same. They only responded to me after 3 contact attempts by me, when I threatened to report them to the BBB. And then they only resolved the issue when I actually did report them. Sorry you are having so many issues.

Beware of Traveling Tikes! They are awful and their customer service sucks!!

To follow up on my post above, hipmonkey just sent me an email that my 2 carseats shipped today.  I hope you work things out and get your seats.

The same thing happened to me- I ended up cancelling my order because I couldn't get anyone to tell me what the heck was going on. All I had was the email saying that the car seat would be shipping out within 48 hours, and I would be getting my tracking number soon. After 4 days, 4 emails, and 3 phone calls, I finally got a hold of someone who couldn't even find my order at first. Then they found it and told me "Oh, we're waiting for another shipment. It should be in maybe sometime in the next two weeks?" I was so fed up at this point that I just told her to cancel my order... the day after that, I got a phone call telling me that my 2 carseats had shipped, but it would take awhile because I was in New York.... I ordered 1 car seat and I am in Virginia. Ugh.

I was skeptical of Traveling Tikes after I heard from a friend that the Marathon she ordered in 2009 had a date of manufacture in 2007.  I just bought a Marathon from albeebaby.  They answered my questions via email quickly, shipped my Marathon (and I received it) in under a week, and it had a Date of Manufacture of April 2009.
