crib mattress

Hi Ladies,

I was just wondering what crib mattress you all use. I still haven't gotten one 'cause DD sleeps in her newborn sleeper on her pack-n-play in my room and will be for awhile, but I want to get one now so I can put her bed all together and make her room actually look like a room. All that's in there now is her crib and pink walls. Haha. Let me know, thanks for the help!

    I did a TON of research...you want a mattress that has "pocketed coils" and that is very heavy.  The heavier, the better.

    I bought the Emily 2 in 1 mattress from Goodnight Room in Bridgeport Village, and DD has been STTN since she was 5 weeks old in her own crib!  I give complete credit to this mattress!  It was about $150 I think, and it's infant on one side, toddler on the other.

    We got the Colgate 2 in 1 matress after hearing everyones recs.

    I have the colgate 2 in 1 as well and its VERY firm! DS sleeps super well in it but I'd probably buy an organic one this time and Costco has one that is priced very reasonably at Costco.com.
