lump on calf?

so i just emailed my dr--but until she gets back to me, here is my question--I have a lump on my calf--it hurts like crazy and feels kind of like a welt.  I dont remember bumping into anything.  I read somewhere that blood clots are possible during pregnancy . .. anyone know anything more before i google and drive myself crazy for no reason?

    You did the right thing.

    I had a problem with a few little lumps when calcium built up around the nerve insertion point in my calf muscle. Mine was related to shin-splints but I imagine it could happen for any reason. (Mine were in front along my bone.)

    Step away from teh Google. It will only scare you in this situation.

    Wait for your Dr. to get back to you.  Keep an eye on your leg and keep it elevated.  If you notice it swelling (the whole leg) go to the ER immediately.
