I was wondering if you hae playgrounds in your area that are accessible to Joey?  A local mom just raised I think 350K to build a playground that is designed for kids of all abilities.  So like there are no steps - it's all ramped and one of the sandboxes is high so that a child in a wheelchair can play there.  And they have seats in the sandboxes for kids who can't sits independantly.  (see pic).  Anyway I just thought of you and Joey today!
