We are just starting to think about the configuration of the nursery, and using some of what we already have, etc. Our house is older and sort of oddly put together, so the room that will be the baby's room is actually really big--the same size as the master bedroom. We have a loveseat/foldout bed that we're not using right now and were thinking of using in the nursery as extra seating (and eventually using the foldout bed in it for sleepovers). It's low to the ground and is padded/upholstered all the way around in a pretty durable fabric (we could slipcover it also).
Any thoughts on this? You don't usually think of a loveseat as nursery furniture, so I'd love to hear what everyone thinks!
Re: Loveseat in a nursery--thoughts?
I think it will be nice as well!
I have a friend who bought a love seat instead of a glider and she wouldn't have it any other way.
I would love a little loveseat if our nursery had the room. The fact that it folds out into a bed is a fantastic bonus.
I deinfitely say keep it.
