Walmart (vent)

So back in May of this year I had an incident at Wal-mart. I fell and hurt my knees when I walked in to the store cause they DID NOT have floor mats down when it was raining!!! So I got hurt, I was in so much pain I filled out an accident report and had to have my DH come pick me up, I could barely walk let alone drive. My kness hurt horribly for weeks, and to this day they still hurt from time to time. I can't even go walking or on a bike ride like I used to cause they start to cramp up and throb! I did not have insurence at the time, so for me to go see a Dr. was out of the question... I couldn't afford to! I just got insurence but I do not think that it will be covered since it was an accident at Walmart months ago... So since the accident I have been dealing with their slow a** Insurence Claims dept, trying to get them to help me see a Dr. Well they FINALLY got back to me and freakin DENIED me!!!!!!!!

I'm sooooooo peeeeed off right now!!!!!!!!! This is not right!!! I am now again waiting for a phone call back so I can ask why!!!

I'm thinking of calling my lawyer...  or burning down the Wal-mart!!! (not really going to burn down Wal-mart but it would feel good)

I would contact an attorney AND I would threaten to contact the local media. A similar situation happened at my grocery store to my friend and the store paid for everything AND gave her a large sum of money to compensate for their mistake.  All she had to do was file an incident report at the store, she didn't expect them to be proactive and take care of everything.

I hate Walmart with a passion. 

I agree with the PP, call an attorney and threaten to get in touch with the local media-they eat that stuff up like cake.

I would definitely pursue some sort of legal action.  They are probably just testing the waters to see if you will fight back.
