Depends on your background and the language your family speaks, IMO. In my Spanish-speaking family, I would go for Noemi, which is actually the name of one of my great aunts. It sounds a lot prettier than Naomi in Spanish.
def.naomi. don't think its all that popular, but it may be on the rise...there are 2 shows with characters named naomi. private practice and the new 90210...
Re: Noemi or Naomi?
I really like Naomi. Can't say I've ever seen the other spelling. No, I don't think it's trendy right now and it goes well with your DD's name.
Naomi. I like it. I do not think it's trendy.
Is Noemi supposed to be said the same way? I say it as "No-em-ee."

Pronounced differently, right? I think Noemi is adorable and Naomi is pretty. I don't think that they are trendy but I might be out of touch.
ditto.
LOVE Naomi. It's Biblical and therefore in my mind more timeless than trendy.
I've never seen the name Noemi so I'm going to go ahead and say it isn't trendy either.
Not trendy at all.
