We had dd's b-day party yesterday and pretty much had maybe enough food leftover for maybe 2 plates of food. I thought it was great because we usually have way too much and nobody takes any home and and alot of it gets thrown out. My grandma thinks it was horrible that we ran out of meatballs (like there wasn't 15 other things to eat) oh and most people had seconds so it's not like people didn't get any.
Well little leftovers sounds perfect, but I always over guess. I would hate to run out and be stuck.
I have this problem for this weekend. 25 kids, 40 plus adults...how much pizza? Kids each get a piece, no biggie, but adults rarely eat at those kid places for bday parties...and 40 is if all the adults come with their so.
Having just enough. I would worry that someone didn't get everything they wanted b/c they would worry we'd run out.
I'm a freak about that kind of thing though.. I always make too much food.
This exactly. When I'm eating at someone's house and it looks like they're getting low on food, even if there is still enough, I'm hesitant to get more.
