UGH-BRU selection...

I was out and about looking at baby things today and I very much want the Chicco Key-fit 30 car seat and travel system, but Babies r Us only has 1 or 2 patterns on their website. We don't have buy buy baby here, but they have a much better selection. Anyone know if you can order different patterns through babies rus? Maybe I have to go in and look at catalogues at the store? Just curious if anyone else has dealt with the lack of selection..even though you know there are TONs of other patterns.

sometimes certain stores have exclusivity on certain patterns.....that's all I can contribute LOL

We're most likely getting the Chicco Key-Fit 30 too and were also disapointed with the selection at BRU.  We're going to get it from another boutique baby store, but this works since my MIL is buying it for us.  If we had to register I don't know what we would do... since I'm sure most people will be buying off our BRU registry.  Once we started looking, I was surprised at how many smaller baby stores there were around us.  Good luck!

we're going with the blue/grey chicco travel system (not the keyfit 30 but the regular keyfit) for this reason. The keyfit 30 just didn't come in any colors I liked and could see myself using.

I typed in "chicco travel system" on google and was shocked at the number of other websites that sell chicco, at better prices than target or BRU too!  I just assumed these were the only stores that carried the brand...but if you do some looking, you may save some money (and find free shipping!).  (look for "next-tag" in google search results to compare sights and prices.)
