Told my Partners I'm Pregnant.....

and it was wonderful.  They all cheered (3 guys) and were super excited for me.  I got tears in my eyes (so not professional, I know) and one of the partners said, "What's wrong, is DH not the father?"  I started dying laughing.  They were great.

We haven't discussed details of maternity leave....I'm hoping for 6 weeks paid, but I'm so happy to have it out in the open.  They all suspected because I haven't been myself with the horrible morning sickness and missing two days of work (which I never do).  It's a weight off my shoulders.

    I am SO HAPPY for you.  That is the best possible scenario!  And I love the joke when you got emotional over their response!  You must be on cloud 9 about now.  Is your morning sickness getting any better?  I hope so......the end of your first trimester is in sight, and it usually is much better after that.

    Congrats on the great response you got from them!  So awesome!

    thats wonderful! If I remember correctly you were worried a bit because they were all male? GL with Maternity leave and I hope you can get what you need!

    That is wonderful that they were so accepting and excited about your news!  I hope that your morning sickness is coming to an end!  Now that you don't have to hide anything from your co-workers, you can enjoy your pregnancy at work too!  G/L w/ maternity leave and H&H for the rest of your pregnancy!
