What a week!

I leave on a 4-day business trip to Chicago tomorrow. I get home late Sunday night.

Monday morning is our final home visit to wrap up our home study.

And our crib and carseat that we ordered are en route to the store, likely to be all ready for pickup by the weekend

WOW, that's alot in one week! Very exciting! Are you going to set the crib up right away or will you wait awhile?

Side note, we're looking at car seats right now, which one did you decide to go with?

I think we'll set up the crib fairly soon. There's a limited timeline for returns if we hate it (which I doubt we will) and DH wants to see how it fits in the room (ah, his engineering brain...)

We went back and forth with the Graco Snugride and the Chicco Keyfit. The Chicco wasn't on our radar until recently, but it was rated #1 by Consumer Reports. We got a good deal on a (likely discontinued) pattern for the Snugride, plus the package we saw came with 2 bases.
