over the weekend a pedi at our practice rec'd pear juice to help our little guy's hard poops. We tried it & it worked once & then back to hard poops. Tried a little the next day & nothing so we waited to go in for a wt check today to ask if we should do something different. No one ever called us back (Grrrrr) so we wanted to try mixing a little juice in w/ his formula since that seems to be a pretty standard remedy...we were going to stick w/ the pear juice but everything I read about pear is that it is generally given straight, while prune is the one mixed in formula.
Do you think it really matters? I have also read that pear is a little gentler on the tummy than other juices...
Thanks.
