    OMG Quinn's skirt!

    I'm guessing we'll be down again in October. We have to get moved first lol.

    It's not, just yet. We are installing new carpet, appliances and toilets. We are moving on Aug. 28... Just slowly packing stuff now. How about you?

    Escrow closes the 4th. We're moving slowly. We found renters for our current house and they aren't moving in until October 5. I have to go over to the new house today and get the estimate from the painter.

    Luckily we bought a newer house (which I'm actually not a fan of lol) and it has all new appliances and bathrooms. We're just going to install new counterts in the kitchen and put french doors in dining room to go out back. I also want to take out the palm trees but DH thinks it's a waste of money lol.

    What?! Take out the palm trees?! You're removing a little piece of Cali! Ha ha! Yeah, I am trying to do a zen garden on our small strip of whatever you wanna call it. I gotta find some nice rocks, though, and Home Depot and Lowes seem limited.

    THAT IS WHAT DH SAID!!! I told him he could deal with the rats and the maintenance they require! There are 4 HUGE palm trees on the property.

    Look around for a landscaping supply place to get rocks. DH wants a pond and we found a bunch of river rocks for really cheap. I'm about to tell him he can have a pond if I can remove the trees and plant something that would provide shade in the yard for the girls lol.

    I'm terrified of what the painters are going to say lol. The previous owners had two young kids and one room looks like the jungle cafe.

    LOL!!! Jungle cafe sounds kinda neat! I will totally look up that landscaping supply store. Thanks for the lead! I needed it. I am clueless.

    LOL just let me know, my moms in real estate and my dad owns a construction business (which is where I work) so I know where to look!
