Mask of PG, but not PG???

So, I totally look like I have developed the 'mask of pg' within the past month, however, I am not PG.  What the heck?  I have dark splotches around the outsides of my eyes, luckily you can't really tell if I put on some make-up.  The problem is that 99% of the time I am too lazy...  

Anyways, do you think that it could be the Metformin or the crazy BCPs (ones from the RE to start IVF) could be doing it?

Anyone else had this issue?

I had it last summer and the doctor said it was the estrogen in BCPs. Then i got it this summer and they said it was from the fert drugs and then I am pg. So I am guessing that is what yours is from too. It sucks I got some good cover up from Lorac that helped some.?

The funniest part is that I never had it while I was PG...

I think it is more the BCPs and estrogen then anything else. My friend got it too and we were both using Yasmine. That is strange you didn't get it while pg. Were you pg in the summer? the Doctor said it is more condensed from sunglasses in the summer too. But srsly the Lorac stuff is a miracle! I used it for my wedding and you couldn't tell I had the 'mask' at all! GL!

Uck, I have it now and got is last year on meds. It can be from BCPs.

What is the Lorac stuff that you used? 

ETA: Yes, I was PG during the summer.  My DS was born on July 25th last year, so not quite the whole summer.
