DS was snacking on some puffs and cherrios this morning. I was only giving him a few at a time because we were in the doctor's office. Each time he put the last one in his mouth he would say "oooorre" and do the sign for more.
Awwww congrats! It's SUCH a great feeling once they start signing back, like "yay we're communicating! I totally understand what you're saying!"
We recently exhausted my sign repertoire so I've had to go online and learn some new ones like "outdoors", "park", "grapes", etc.
Yay! I love when they sign back!
Chris: park is HARD! We just stick to outside and swing!
I haven't been actively teaching her- but her school is. Her first sign was "more" too. I had to look it up. LOL.
chicagoteri79:Yay, that is so fantastic. Somedays, I feel like he's never going to pick it up. I just hope I get a response soon.
