Induction moved up to tonight

Well, my bp is still up and at out appt this morning, they moved up the induction to tonight. I am suddenly a little freaked out. I am dilated almost 2 so she went ahead and stripped my membranes. All I can say is if someone tells you they are going to do this, run, wrap your sheet around you and run.

It seems strange to know that by the end of the day tomorrow I will be holding my daugher.

I remember having my membranes stripped with my 1st child. I wish I had run too!!

Congrats - the end is in sight!

I was exactly in your position. My BP got very high and they scheduled my induction. Suddenly I was very frightened. I have a happy ending though - the induction took 6 hours from pitocin hook up to delivery, so it doesn't have to be terrible.
