Two questions from the AP board

What is a "rainbow family" and what does "LO" stand for?

I would ask over there but they are a little too tender when people from the outside ask them questions. I don't want to startle them.

rainbow baby is a baby conceived after a miscarriage or stillbirth.  A rainboy family though??  IDK what that means.

Just found the post on the AP board.  It was part of the comparing of the AP board and the LGBT board, so I'm pretty sure it means a family with 2 moms/2 dads.

I think I'm against "little one"...I think it really marginalizes children.

3. Rainbow famimly- are they hippies? like they go to rainbow gatherings a lot (or perhaps their kids were conceived at one?

4. LO is gross. it means little one to everyone else, but I suppose AP will redefine it to mean LOVED one, because they need special labels. to distinguish themselves from regular old parents.

when LO's grow up, do we call them BO's???  Just need to know, because I think I have two BO's and one LO....unless its loved one, then I have 3 LO's most of the time....sometimes I have AO's...annoying ones...sometimes I have WO's whiny ones...sometimes I have go's..grumpy ones.

I have MANY LO (loved ones) not all are my LO's (little ones) though. Some of my LO's have bad BO...I recommend RX deodorant for them.
