Sorry, ladies... I posted this morning. You just missed it.  No good signs. This baby WANTS me to be induced on Thursday night.

I had my 41 week appointment today because they wanted to see me before my induction date and I'm still only dilated to 1 cm and not much other progress.

I did lose most, if not all, of my mucus plug this weekend (it was gross) but beyond that?nada.

And because I'd had a lot of watery vaginal discharge, the doctor I saw also used a speculum (besides the internal) to test the fluid. Thankfully I'm not leaking amniotic fluid, but she was a bit rough and now I'm having major spotting (not bloody show, unfortunately).

So my baby SHOULD be here on Friday but I'm not holding my breath for him to arrive any sooner. Damn stubborn boy, takes after his dad who was 3 weeks late.

Good luck Robyn. I guess we have stubborn babies all around. I was also 3 weeks late, so I figured I was going to go over my due date.

Keep the faith, Robyn!  You still have 2 days before the induction.  I was not even fingertip dilated and 0% effaced on my due date, no BH contrax, nothing.  I was so bummed, but I went into labor a few days later.  Good luck, and at least you know you'll meet him this week
