So, I'm on my way into work this morning...a little late. I stop by the grocery store to pick up a couple Lean Cuisines or some other microwave splendor to eat for lunch. With lunch and receipt in hand, I race to my car to continue on my commute.
About 5 minutes down the road I realize my lunch no longer seems appetizing to me and that I am really CRAVING (are you ready for this?).....
Chef Boyardee Beefaroni- yes the kind in the can you eat when you're 6.
So, I stop into the next grocery store and stock up on Spaghettios, Beefaroni, Ravioli, Spaghetti with Meatballs and all the preservative goodness that is Chef Boyardee.
I make it into work 21 minutes behind (which is forgivable since I'm the boss) and here I sit at 10:35 am- in front of the computer, on The Bump, eating an entire can (in a bowl) of Beefaroni.
So now my question is....what will I have for lunch? ![]()
Re: Stupid Cravings- embarrassing!
Hey, the baby is just practicing for all those lunches and dinners he/she will have when he/she is 6!!!
Enjoy!!
There's nothing shameful about beefaroni! Heck DH and I every other week eat a can of Ravioli for dinner. It's a cheep way to cut the grocery bill and it tastes good! We buy Meijer Brand (Meijer is a Walmart type store, but supports more local farmers and such and is only in MI, OH, KY, IN), which seriously, everyone need's a Meijer! Their brand is so good, it's often better then the national brands.
I was planning on having a Smart Ones, but now I think I will go back to KFC because I had it yesterday and it really hit the spot!
BTW I ate nothing by Chef Boyardee Ravioli for supper for about 2 weeks straight.
The Chef Boyardee is not the shameful and embarrassing part (it was actually quite delicious)- it's the fact that I went out of my way to stop at another grocery store to get it.
I could have waited until after work, bought some and ate it at home, but instead it was like a "YOU MUST HAVE THIS NOW" type thing. Never happened before! That my friends...is too funny.
I love me some spaghettiO's even when I am not preggers. Heck, I eat them cold. I am gross, I know LOL.
If it makes you feel better, for dinner last night, I had 2 waffles and a cup of noodles, Shrimp flavor.-Pretty gross combo if you ask me.

haha- love all the replies to this. I had no idea so many of you love Chef Boyardee! I seriously was not trying to offend anyone by calling it 6 year old food, I just haven't had it in that long!
Too weird to crave something that I rarely ever eat, yet hardly remember!
Yes! I'm not the only one. I've been craving spaghetti O's on a nightly basis around midnight, so I haven't eaten them yet. But they sound soooo good!
I also have been wanting the homemade baked mac-n-cheese. Not the boxed kind, but the kind my grandma used to make for family gatherings when I was little.
i've had the same craving this pregnancy. i think i've had about 4 cans of spaghetti-o's with franks for dinner!!!
i can't believe i'm not the only one!
