renting and lead?

Does anyone here rent? I'm wondering what you've done about the lead issue - do you only go for de-leaded? I've know people who own and have kids and their homes are not de-leaded but we are still renting and so far have only looked for de-leaded places. It just makes the field so small (so far we've found three options) and I'm curious what others do.

We rent and we just searched for something that was de-leaded.  It was such a pain and not many options, but there is some law about living in an apartment with lead with a child under the age of 6 and I think people may not rent to you if you are expecting and the place has lead (like in those lead disclosure things they have you sign when you sign your lease).
