Update on my cousin....

She is  diagnosed with SEVERE  preeclampsia (her proteins are measuring 11,000 when 300 is normal in pregnancy and 5000 is considered preeclamptic)...basically, her kidneys are shutting down.  She is 32 weeks.  The baby is doing well, however, they obviously are concerned with lung development.  She has been given 2 steroid shots for the baby and she is scheduled for a c-section tomorrow morning.  She is of course very scared, but more for the baby then herself (this is her first baby). Please continue to keep her and the baby in your prayers.

    Prayers coming for her and baby.

    If it helps, at all, I hear great things about the steroid shots for their lungs.  DD was born at 33 weeks and didn't have a chance to get them, so hopefully things go just as smooth for her :)
