I continue to read about these wheatgrass shots. Can someone fill me in? Where do you get them? Why do you do them?

Re: Wheatgrass shots?
I started them yesterday. I am not a new-agey, earthy, granoly kind of girl but I am willing to try anything to get that BFP.
Whole Foods sells them as a flash frozen shot. There isnt a Whole Foods really close to me. We went to a fancy health food store and they said that the wheatgrass shot should be consumed within 20 min after it is turned into juice. This is because of the chlorophyll. You have to have a super fancy juicer to turn the wheatgrass into liquid. It really is grass! I am going to stop at this health food store every day on my way home from work and have them make me a shot. Believe it or not they have lots of customers who do this. Its not cheap - $3 for 2 ounces. The shot is bright green and tastes just like grass.
Wheatgrass is supposed to help with egg quality.
Husband has been making all kinds of jokes. He says he wont have to mow the grass anymore - he is just going to send me outside to eat the lawn. Etc etc.
Disclaimer - Im not sure if I believe any of this stuff. There are no really good medical studies or "proof" that the wheatgrass works. However after my shot yesterday I did feel like I had a little more energy and I wasnt as hungry as I usually am. I am not the type of person who typically goes to health food stores so this is all new for me. My preferred shot is tequila, not wheatgrass!
MrsKario-I am not surprised you had extra energy after the wheatgrass shot. They are wonderful for that. I was also wondering about the validity of the 'increase your egg quality' claim. I do a lot of health related research for my job and have not come across any of it myself.
I also found the shots at Whole Foods but was unsure it was worth it because they are best freshly juiced, just like anything you might juice. As soon as you juice it, it starts to lose its potency. I'm on the fence. But it's certainly not going to hurt you. They are actually quite good for you.
