I have hardly had any computer time since giving birth. But I feel I am starting to get adjusted. Unfortunatley I'm having a problem with my computer right now too so that puts a damper on things. So I am using DH's laptop now just to say hi & see what's been happening here.
Glad to see that Stever delivered & finally Moiselle's water broke! I was wondering when that would happen. I was also thinking by the time I get a chance to get back Robyn might even have had the baby.
I had posted last asking new moms about how long some of the post pregnancy symptoms last. Wanted to update how long they did last. My poor swollen feet got worse after delivering, that went away by like day 5. My feet are skinny again!! Yey. The belly feeling all loose-like felt normal after like 4 days. I have been wearing the belly support & this seemed to help. The bleeding is getting better. I have switched to super-thin pads which at least make me feel less disgusting & not like I am wearing a diaper. The episiotomy area & tear is getting better also.
Just over one week & I lost 20 lbs. All I have is a little jiggle in the belly. I think the belly support as well as the breast feeding definitely help.
Now I just can't wait to actually get outside & enjoy some of the summer before it passes me by. Maybe next weekend we'll take Sienna to the park for a walk. She is really a good girl. I can't wait for her to sleep a little longer at night though. But life is good.
Re: hello everyone
Yay! Glad you're doing so much better. I find it reassuring to hear that there's some light at the end of the tunnel re: stitches and jiggly belly.I've been put on bedrest for 2 weeks because of my tearing and subsequent stitches, so all I have to do when LO's sleeping is stare at my wobbly belly.
Now get out and enjoy some sunshine!
My Blog

Hi Fiazo!!
Glad you're doing well and that Sienna is a good baby. No progress yet... but at least I'm safely in August. ;-) And thanks for the info on the swollen feet. Mine (and my hands) are painfully swollen and I TRY to drink enough water but fail miserably each day. Too much water makes me nauseous.
And I hope it stops RAINING here soon so you can take your little girl on a nice walk. More storms predicted for today.
