Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Shoes

Liev walks now so we officially have a toddler....I guess it's time we look into real shoes.  So far he's been wearing soft sole shoes although he wears them very rarely, he's barefoot most of the time.  Any recommendations?

Re: Shoes

  • I have really like pedipeds for my DS.

  • I bought a pair of Rileyroos for Lili from Tiny Soles, and I love them. They have flexible soles and imitate barefoot walking.
  • DD wore Pedipeds until she was walking pretty good. Then I went to Stride Rite Outlet & got her a pair of nice leather sandals that had more of a sole, but were still flexible. Now I buy whatever is cute & decently priced Smile I have sort of an obsession with cute little girl shoes!

  • We got DD a pair of Stride Rite. Only because our daycare suggested it. DD left leg seems to point out to the left when she walks so they thought a good pair of shoes would help. I'll double check when we go for her 15 month well visit though.

I really don't want to have to buy her $40-50 shoes ever month or so. I don't even buy myself shes for that much. lol
