2nd Trimester

Placenta Position

Anyone not have either an anterior or posterior but a placenta that is more on top???  I guess that's where mine is located so it's half posterior and half on top which my OB told me wasnt an issue but just curious if anyone is in the same boat and is only feeling some movement?!

Re: Placenta Position

  • When we went for our u/s we didn't have super friendly tech.  She never said where my placenta was located, she just said that it looked like it was in a good location.  So, whatever that means. . .

Are you feeling any movement at all?  My movement started around 18 weeks and has gotten to be an everyday thing.  I already know the schedule that my baby seems to be on.  It's so funny!

  • I wish I could feel my baby!!!  I will soon I'm sure...she sure was moving around alot on the ultrasound!
  • I feel movement here and there.  Mostly in the mornings after I get to work and sometimes right before I go to bed.  But like other people say you dont always notice it if you are up and doing other things.  They told me it's nothing to be worried about - I mean alot of people dont feel movement until 24-25.  And on the ultrasound he was a good size and moving all around!!

That's where my placenta is, but I'm not far enough along to feel movement yet.
