You asked about the trigger shot. I used ovidrel which is the hormone HcG that causes the mature follicle to release the egg. I injected it 36 hours prior to my IUI so that they could time my O and the insemination so there are better chances of the sperm meeting the egg. The reason why I'm getting + hpt is because the HcG is what you measure when you are actually pg. So until I get a - hpt then I won't know for sure whether I'm getting a false positive or not. When you do a trigger shot it stays in your system from 7-10 days.

Re: ~~~panda~~~
Well that make perfect sense. Thank you for taking the time to explain it to me. This is all such a learning experience. I predict I'll have lost more learning to do after my follow RE appt on Friday.
Thanks again!
