Re: foamy poop?

  • Ugh that sounds aweful.  I have not dealt with this so I would be making a call to the pedi...

This.  I've never seen anything like that.  I'd make a call.

we have an appt, but not till monday (2 month). i was thinking that no fever= no call dr. probably should anyway. my poor baby is asleep sitting up on my lap... this NEVER happens.

  • DS has foamy poop on occasion.  He doesn't have a fever and it doesn't seem to bother him (and he poops and pees plenty), so we're not really concerned.
  • I think its prob normal poop changes all the time thats one thing i have learned... does it come out exactly like shaving cream?
  • the last diaper was back to "normal". It was all during the night. Yes, exactly like shaving cream, but a little more texture. Sorry, TMI!

I read online it could be from getting too much foremilk. Not sure though... She was nursing for less time last night since she couldn't breathe while nursing.
