We have a natural foods store that has a large selection of teas, and they do stock it. It's called Great American Foods, but I don't think they are a national chain.
ps. the tea is not supposed to jump start labor, just to keep your uterus in top shape for labor.
I figure none of those old wives' tales will actually do anything, but it's kind of fun to try some of them :-)
This isn't really an OWT, it's just misunderstood as one I guess you could say. It was never meant to start labor, it's just supposed to be good (like all herbs/teas have certain uses) for toning the uterus and preparing your body for labor, delivery, and recovery.
I hate raspberry...yuck. I would have to go with the tablets.
FWIW (I was annoyed b/c I do like raspberry! hehe) it doesn't taste like raspberry. Since it's from the leaf of the raspberry plant, I guess that's why, though that's just a total guess. It just tastes like tea to me.
Re: Where do you buy raspberry leaf tea?
Health stores.
Just to make sure you know: It won't put you into labor or anything. I have been drinking it for the past 4 wks.
Also, if you can find the tablets they are much easier to take than drinking 4-6 cups of tea if you aren't a tea drinker.

Celestial Seasonings makes it, "Red Raspberry Zinger."
It "softens/ripens" the uterus. (I hate those terms ;-)
This isn't the right tea, or so I am told. It has to be the Raspberry Leaf tea
Thanks, ladies :-)

Yup. Health Food Stores, Kroger or Meijer in my area. Traditional Medicinals makes some. Also lots of "pregnancy" teas have raspberry leaf in them.

Ditto. This is just raspberry flavoured tea. You need to get actual red raspberry leaf tea. I got mine in the pharmacy section of Walmart.
