I totally straddle the line between introvert and extrovert. If you drew a scale with extrovert on one side and introvert on the other I would be at the exact halfway point on the line, I think.
You know, being an extrovert or introvert isn't just about whether you are outgoing or shy. Most people can be either, given the situation. The real distinction is where you get your energy from and what you are most comfortable with. Are you the kind of person who gets energy/ideas from discussing things with other people, or are you someone who needs to think things through alone?

I totally agree with you on this. I read an article once on the difference between introverts and extroverts and it made me feel so much better about being an introvert. I would say that anyone who is shy would be considered an introvert but I don't think all introverts are shy. I consider myself an introvert b/c I get "tired" when I'm around people too much. I need time alone to re-charge. Extroverts on the other hand, get their energy from people - just like you said.
Re: Are you an introvert or extavert? (clicky)

LOL! I almost put that in there.
