DS hated his smash cake PIP

We just got back from Chicago where we did three seperate early birthday celebrations. Thankfully only one set of grandparents had a smash cake and things did not go so well.

    That's so sad!  I wish i could feel the same way about cake, it would make losing weight easier, lol

    He absolutly refuses to take a bite of cake or get near one after that. It is kind of sad actually. He seemed to enjoy cake prior to this. Guess I'll just go with a cookie cake for his party instead of a regular cake since he won't want any part of it.

    That's the same face I make when DH tries to take the cake away from me.  I am doing smash pics in 2 weeks, I wonder if DD will like it.

    Hee, me too.  You'd have to include Oreos and mini-doughnuts for me though.  ;)

    Poor little guy!  There's not a chance something hurt him, is there?  DH and SIL are twins and they have a home movie of the two of them on their first birthday; DH is going to town on the cake and SIL is just watching because she grabbed the candle and got burned.  She wanted NO part of that cake afterward.  Poor shmoo!

    That face looks just like my 3.5 year old's when we gave him his smash cake.  I'm hoping his little brother smashes his to pieces next weekend!

    There was nothing there to hurt him. I think it was the getting dirty part he did not like.

    It does make a great picture though. I am thinking these pictures will have to come put in a few years when he is yelling that he wants cake and nothing else for dinner. Just alittle reminder to him that one time he liked veggies better then cake Smile
