Throwing your own shower = tacky.

Me not being able to go to my own shower except via webcam because family didn't ask me about a date and I can't travel over the mountians (and they WON'T travel over the mountians = also tacky.

My point - be greatful for whatever shower you end up having and then move on... trust me. It could be worse.
