Update on job

So I never heard back from the 1 manager that I interviewed with. However, I am not too sad about it, I really didn't want the job.

I have a really good lead on a great job, hopefully it pans out. I have a good friend in Denver who has been asking around about jobs. She knows the manager at The Children's Hospital in the Cardiology recovery room. She may be able to make a position for me (she has a nurse who is dropping her hours). They were going to just absorb her hours since it is such a pain to get the ok to post a job. Since she has a qualified candidate (Me!!) she is taking my resume to the Director to see if she can hire me, she said it is much easier to have a candidate & just make a position for them rather than posting it. 

When I spoke with her it sounded really promising. It would start out as 2-3, 8 hour shifts a week, possibly becoming more! It would also have partial benefits (which is big as we want to try for # 2 starting in Nov)! I am trying not to get excited & I am not sure when I will even hear about it. Not sure when she is going to the Director. Also, I love the kids & the majority of my background is in pediatrics, so this would be so much better than the other job!

That is great news, mlhowe!! I know you were wanting to find something in that area and it sounds like it would work well (you'd still get to spend time with DD!) Let us know how it goes. I'll miss you guys when you move.
