1. Nothing for the day of. We normally just watch fireworks in/around the neighborhood - we have some good ones! I have 2 weeks off work. We lots of doctors appointments, dinners with friends, and hopefully some time to take A outside a little in the mornings.
2. I did Wii fit and prenatal yoga when I was pregnant in December. hehe. I took A on a walk about 4 days ago...but...it's really more of a stroll.
3. I watch "He's just not that into you" but didn't get to finish it...it was okay..

6. I'm leaving in 6 minutes to see my little man and I hope he had a good day! I'm wondering when Ella is going to arrive. I hope my Grandpa had a good week. I'm excited to see my little sister tomorrow - she's been gone on vac for 2 weeks. We got our new computer set up at home and it rocks.

no plans except a Cincinnati Reds game on the 3rd with some friends. We get the 3rd off.

Twilight ... didn't live up to the hype, but it was good. Too many angsty teen moments for me

finishing a masters in mech engineering right now so it's hard to think about this .... but I may start an executive MBA program through Notre Dame or Xavier in the next year or two. It's hard to turn down degrees when your company pays for them!

We are going to an early cookout at Abe's parents' house to celebrate the 4th as well as SIL and BIL's birthdays. They're both July "babies". We get Saturday off of work. Woo-stinkin'-hoo. We'll be at work all day Friday and Monday.

If walking with Teddy counts as exercise, then often. If not, I guess hiking/kayaking in Alaska would be the last time.

We watched "The Proposal" last weekend. It was hilarious! We both loved it!

BETTER! Since TTC, even, the sex has been freaking awesome. I'm sure, if it takes awhile, that will change but thus far, I'm loving the trying

Once I get my degree I will never, ever, ever, ever go to school again. At least that's what I say now.

I'm growing tired of the 2WW and I'm ready for early next week. I'm too scared to test just yet. I'm glad it's a busy weekend and I'm hoping it will pass quickly.

We're heading up north to SB/Elkhart area to see DH's family. Not sure on the fireworks. Right now I've currently worked up a whole 4 PTO days.

Goodness, it's been way too long. I'll say my 4 mile hike around Chicago last weekend. Seriously, I was so mad at DH

Transformers (the 1st one). I hadn't seen it before and it was OK, not really my style, but ok.

It's about the same-good for me and DH thinks it should happen more often!

I would go back for my teaching degree in Physical Education-at no college in particular

I hate my job, I want to be a SAHM, but we can't afford it. We can afford for me to work part-time, but then I think why not just work full-time until baby #2 comes and put lots of money in the bank. Then I realize I hate my job and no matter how much money we'd save, I wouldn't be happy.
1. DH & I both get the 3rd off. No plans that day. On the 4th, we're going to a bday party for Haley's little boyfriend. He's in her daycare (he and Haley are 2 of the 4 kids there). Anyway - they're best buds and he's turning 2! We'll hang out there and be home for her bed time. No fireworks for us. Haley is in bed by 7:30 or 8.
2. I probably work out 1x a week average. Unless you count packing a 25lb toddler around the house as working out. It is making my biceps look nicer.
3. DH & I just watched Transformers (the first one) the other night. It was pretty awesome. I didn't reallly expect to like it, now I want to see the new one!
4. Well, it was pretty awesome until I got pregnant. Then it sucked, now we're getting back to awesome! So - I'd say it's been kind of a rollercoaster since we've been married.
5. I'd go back to school for Nursing (BSN), then eventually get my NP license in Women's Health or Family Practice.
6. I'm excited to see my sisters and mom tonight. My sister is getting her wedding gown fitted and I'm picking up my BM dress. I'm anxious to have my girls night tomorrow night! I desperately need some pure girl time! Haley turns 17 months on Sunday and I can't believe it. I'm sad and happy at the same time. I also go from being really excited about TTC#2 to being really sad that she won't be the only child anymore if we get BFP. Such a range of emotions with it...good and bad!

nope, we don't do the firework thing. sometimes we'll go to dad's and watch the fireworks in the surrounding towns from the pool.

i've been walking at least 4 times a week and incorporating a fabulous dance video on the days i don't walk. last night a friend and i walked at ft. ben. tonight and tomorrow will probably be spent in the pool.

theater -- the hangover. funniest movie since baby mama!
at home -- medea goes to jail. what i saw was funny but i was tired and fell asleep.

i want to go to nursing school and would go to IUPUI. but if i could have a fantasy degree, it would be in interior design or fashion merchandising (i have zero talent in either area!) and i would go to savannah college of art and design.

1. As of now we're just going to pour beer on the 4th of July in Cincinnati. Other than that I'm not sure. I have a half day on the 2nd (off in the PM) and am off until the 6th when I just have to come in for the afternoon.
2. This morning, I ran two miles in the very muggy weather!
3. I think it was Wall Street - not sure. We are going to see The Hangover tonight though!
4. It's better when it happens, I'm just usually exhausted by the time we get to bed and we're always so busy.

6. I had a huge fight with my mom on Wednesday because of how much she pressures me to come back to Cincinnati. We're trying to build our life together here in Indianapolis and I feel like she's constantly trying to tear that apart with guilt and anger.

I don't get any extra vacation, so I'm just giving myself the day off and not doing anything work related. If I can see fireworks from my house, then sure, I'll see them
2) When is the last time you worked out? What did you do? This morning was 30DS level 3, but other days I'll take the dog for a run or do more focused weightlifting or all cardio.
3) What is the last movie you watched? Was it good? I watched The Dutchess this morning after working out. It wasn't superb, but it got me through some reading I needed to do.
4) The longer you've been married, is sex getting better or worse? The longer we're married, the further apart we are physically, so in that sense, worse. But when we do get to see each other, it's totally better.
5) If you had to get another degree (in something else and at another college) what would your major be and where would you go to school? HA! I'm nine months away from having my PhD...after that it's hopefully to Boston University for my MDiv, but I wouldn't say no to Emory or Drew for the same degree.

Mother's Day, 2011
1) What are your plans for the 4th? Are you going to see fireworks? How much vacation do you get from work or school? It happens to line up nicely with my break- 1st session ends this Monday, 2nd session begins next Monday. We'll be driving down to Kentucky to spend time with ILs. Yes I imagine there will be fireworks.
2) When is the last time you worked out? What did you do? In terms of actually going to a gym- it's been well over a year. But I do a couple walks with DD every day, and I've been riding my bike to and from campus.
3) What is the last movie you watched? Was it good? Dark Knight was on HBO the other day and I watched it. It wasn't bad, but I found it hard to get into.

Ugh. I am on long call at the hospital, which means I get home around 10. Chris gets to dress Jocelyn up in her 4th of July dress and take her 2 blocks over to Talbott St. (the actual street, not the bar. they block it off to watch the downtown fireworks - it a neighborhood party). On the evening of the 3rd we are going down to parent's house in Columbus. They live on a lake and there are fireworks that night too, so I'll see those. As an intern this year I get 3 wks of vacation, but in July I only get 44 days off total.
2) When is the last time you worked out? What did you do? Does yardwork count?
I take long walks with the stroller but that's about it right now. I am anxious to get back to working out, but it will be tough while working 80hrs/wk! We used to go to the Y alot before Jocelyn was born, but we haven't figured out a good way to both get to the gym with her around.
3) What is the last movie you watched? Was it good? I'm not really much of a movie person, but we saw Taken and it was pretty good.

5) If you had to get another degree (in something else and at another college) what would your major be and where would you go to school? Man, I've spent enough years in school. So far I've accumulated a BS, MS, MD, and PhD. I could get an MPH or a JD but I'd like to make money at some point.

I have no idea! I think it's a difficult career to find a job in, especially right now...and I have no background in it, I just think it sounds fun. :-)

1) No plans for now. We usually light some fireworks off over at IL's - not sure how Paige will do with them!! My company is slow, so we're all getting a two-week, unpaid "vacation." Not that I mind, we're heading up to Mackinac Island with my parents for a few days, and I am so happy that I get to spend more time with Paige!! The "unpaid" part sucks, but whatever.

So far so good! We've actually been doing it more often since getting married. Who knows how long that will last, now that he's probably going back on 2nd shift, and I just re-enrolled in school! Plus I may have a part time job in the works. So we'll see. LoL

I'm still working on my first degree. But if I were in a little fantasy world where I could acutally go away to school again, I'd go back to Purdue (Not really "away" but far enough I can't manage it right now, lol) for Wildlife Biology.

I have a knot in my stomach the size of Texas! I put in for a part time job as a Personal Assistant last week just because I thought (on a whim) it'd be a good opportunity if the hours were right. Well I didn't hear back anything, which wasn't a big deal. So last night, I got signed back up for school and have been geeked up all day about finally being on track to finish my degree. We went and got Chinese for lunch today and I opened my fortune cookie and it said "An Important Business Venture May Soon Develop For You". I threw it away thinking "Ha, how stupid." Then about 10 minutes later I opened my email and found a reply from the man I applied for the PA position with and he wants me to start this week if I can!!!!!!!!! HOLY CRAP THIS IS A LOT TO DEAL WITH IN 12 hours! Hence the knot... sorry this is long... just had to get it outta my system!

Our friend (who's from here, went to ND and now lives in DC) is visiting w/ his gf, and his parents are having a cookout Friday, so we're going to that. Not sure about fireworks or anything else for the rest of the weekend - might depend on weather - but hopefully we'll get to see our friends a lot.
2) When is the last time you worked out? What did you do? Oh boy, um...we went for a hike a few weeks ago that got fairly strenuous. We're hoping to buy some sort of exercise equipment soon so we have no excuse not to get/stay in shape.

um, yes, I am addicted too! When did you start? I started last Oct and can't seem to get enough. Stupidly, I signed up for some major runs in the fall so I need to train for those and have been going to zumba less and less. I miss it though. I love it so much!

Well, our baby will be five or six days old...so, no plans.

I hate to use the word "worse", but it's much less frequent and more routine. We were rabbits in college and when we first lived together.

I'm actually pretty happy with my choice (sociology BA, higher ed MEd).

Going to Philly--my mom's best friend's son and his family live there so the 3 of us are going to visit. We leave on the 3rd. We're going to see the liberty bell, eat cheesesteaks, and see what else is going on there!

I'm annoyed that the paint trucks didn't give much notice when I went to grad school earlier in the week and I got white paint in my wheel well. At least it scrubbed off! Also, I made out like a bandit at keystone at the crossing today! Hit that old navy, then got some good deals at banana republic (extra 20% off if you buy 3 sale items) and recycled empties at MAC to get free longwear lipstick. Found out that as long as the eye shadow refills are originals (not ones you depotted) they count for the recycling program too.
1. We are headed to DH's family's lakehouse in northern Indiana for a week. I'm on maternity leave and DH is taking a week of vacation. We'll absolutely be watching fireworks on the lake!
2. Last week. I walked outdoors with the baby and did a workout DVD.
3. I watched No Reservations on DVD. It was alright.
4. I would say it was getting better pre-baby. I'm scared to try post-baby.

6. DH may be going to London for work in 2 weeks, so we're looking into flights for me and the baby! The rush may be on to get the baby a passport!
2) Since I got home from a conference late last night, I (sadly) haven't worked out since last Friday. Usually I work out 5-6 days a week, so I'm back on the train tomorrow!

I'm ultra late, but still want to play.
1. I'll be on the lake with a group from my church. We're tubing, skiing, and having a blast. We get to watch fireworks from the house boat, so it'll be awesome. I get Monday the 6th off, but am not doing anything special...just sleeping in!
2. Way too long. I miss it. Need to start going to the gym or doing something.
3. He's Just Not That Into You. Loved it.

5. I'd love to get something in interior design. I love deocrating, and especially with doing my wedding planning business, more training in design would be super helpful. I'd also love to take classes in photography. So, maybe an art degree? Which is so funny to me because I never even thought of myself as creative until like 5 years ago.
6. I really want my washer drain to stop gurgling. I've poured loads of drano down it and it's still making noise. Next step will be to call a plumber sadly.
