What is your crib brand and model?

Do you mind sharing what crib (brand and model) you decided to purchase?  I feel like I've looked at everything and I don't like what's in my budget.  I'm hoping you ladies will have found something that I haven't!

TIA!!!

  • I believe we are getting the Graco Lauren, but I really want a black crib and as far as I've seen the Graco Lauren doesn't come in black! Unfotunately I'm sure you've seen that crib, and therefore I'm of no help! Smile

  • we have a delta crib-martinique model 4842-2  manufacture in 2006.   we bought it for first child and will use it again.   it has a drop side and is convertible.   as a set with our dresser/changing table it was $600.   purchased at bru.
  • Last night we decided to order a Da Vinci Kalani crib and dresser combo in cherry
  • We have the crib and changing table.  The crib was $500.00.  We love both, made extremely well and the crib turns into a toddler bed so we will get a lot of use out of it. Here is the link:

    What is you budget?

Interesting question.  My budget is somewhat flexible, and I was willing to pay $600 for the Munire crib I wanted.  That was until I saw the prices of the matching pieces.  I can not do a $600 crib, with $700+ dressers.

So it's not that my budget is super tight - but I'd like to find something more along the BabiesRUs budget range . . .

Have you tried looking on overstock.com?

    ::edit::

Ours Came with the toddler and day bed rails for that price. The sales lady a BRU told us we could by the full size bed frame for cheaper some place else. They wanted an extra $190 for the full size bed conversion.

I strongly recommend the babi italia pinehurst collection.  The assembly was so easy and everyone that has seen it has remarked on how well the furniture is made.

I really liekd the Da Vinci Kalani, and after tons of research and lots of back and forth, we actually decided on the Canton 4-in-1 in Cherry from Target.

It has gotten great reviews- I'm almost just worried because it's so affordable!

I totally agree with you!  Our furniture was WAY more than we thought it would be.  I expected the crib to be around $500 but not the changing table.  Our parents helped us out though so we were able to get what we wanted.  GL to you!!!

You could always get the crib you want and try to find other, less expensive pieces that coordinate with your crib instead of purchasing the exact matches.  It may be a stressful task to find anything but if you really like a certain crib more so than any other, it could be worth a shot.  G/L!

we're getting the Madison from Munire as well...going with the cherry finish, and pairing an armoire we already have with the crib & double dresser we'll be ordering.

  • The Baby Mod Olivia crib.
  • We got the a Delta crib from the Amber collection at Burlington.
  • If you like Munire furniture, they make a line that is sold at Babies R Us called Baby Cache. The prices aren't as high.

  • I really like the Babi Italia Pinehurst Single Dropside Crib in Tea Stain, and we are planning on getting it-- my parents are being really wonderful and buying the crib.  It is not set in stone yet, but it looks gorgeous in person, and I need a dropside due to my shortness.

This is what we did.  We bought our crib in cherry (DaVinci Rivington), and bought 2 storckcraft dressers in cherry.

Just FYI: we got this crib and we LOVE it! Very sturdy, will grow with baby really well, and easy to assemble. We got it on sale at a local baby store for $375.

  • I think we're going with this one

but it could just as easily be this one

Either way, it's a babi italia crib.

  • we're still shopping around, but i think it is coming down to Madison by Natart.
  • Munire Deco.  I can't wait until it comes!  We opted not to purchase a matching dresser because we're thinking of getting closet organizers or get a dresser that fits inside the closet since the nursery is small.

  • My husband and I just ordered the Da Vinci Emily crib and dresser/changer combo in Espresso from the website below. The crib was ranked top on Consumer Reports and they have free shipping and no tax right now, so it only ended up costing us $558 for the set.

    https://www.babycribstation.com/Crib-Sets--C1209.htm

  • Munire Essex...we got the matching 6 drawers dresser as well. My dad is is paying for the crib.
  • We got the Americana Crib in Natural by Jardine. It was on "clearance" (meaning they just dropped the price for a few weeks) plus with my employee discount, and 15 percent off coupon we ended up spending $154 dollars (the crib was originally $229).
  • Munire Urban and the matching 5-drawer dresser.  Our plan is to get a separate changing table that looks good with this set.
