Do you mind sharing what crib (brand and model) you decided to purchase? I feel like I've looked at everything and I don't like what's in my budget. I'm hoping you ladies will have found something that I haven't!
TIA!!!

Here's a link to the one I'm getting. I agree.... finding a good crib is hard!!!

We have the crib and changing table. The crib was $500.00. We love both, made extremely well and the crib turns into a toddler bed so we will get a lot of use out of it. Here is the link:

We got this: https://www.munirefurniture.com/madison_03.htm
top 3 choices so far:
Munire Newport
Babi Italia Pinehurst
DaVinci Kalani
Interesting question. My budget is somewhat flexible, and I was willing to pay $600 for the Munire crib I wanted. That was until I saw the prices of the matching pieces. I can not do a $600 crib, with $700+ dressers.
So it's not that my budget is super tight - but I'd like to find something more along the BabiesRUs budget range . . .
This is the Crib we bought.

Have you tried looking on overstock.com?
::edit::
Ours Came with the toddler and day bed rails for that price. The sales lady a BRU told us we could by the full size bed frame for cheaper some place else. They wanted an extra $190 for the full size bed conversion.
I strongly recommend the babi italia pinehurst collection. The assembly was so easy and everyone that has seen it has remarked on how well the furniture is made.
I really liekd the Da Vinci Kalani, and after tons of research and lots of back and forth, we actually decided on the Canton 4-in-1 in Cherry from Target.
It has gotten great reviews- I'm almost just worried because it's so affordable!

I totally agree with you! Our furniture was WAY more than we thought it would be. I expected the crib to be around $500 but not the changing table. Our parents helped us out though so we were able to get what we wanted. GL to you!!!
You could always get the crib you want and try to find other, less expensive pieces that coordinate with your crib instead of purchasing the exact matches. It may be a stressful task to find anything but if you really like a certain crib more so than any other, it could be worth a shot. G/L!
we're getting the Madison from Munire as well...going with the cherry finish, and pairing an armoire we already have with the crib & double dresser we'll be ordering.

?
but it was a hand-me-down! we picked it up on Sunday?
were getting the baby cache by royale from BRU

This is what we did. We bought our crib in cherry (DaVinci Rivington), and bought 2 storckcraft dressers in cherry.
Just FYI: we got this crib and we LOVE it! Very sturdy, will grow with baby really well, and easy to assemble. We got it on sale at a local baby store for $375.
I think we're going with this one
https://www.babiitalia.com/html/bi_es.html#
but it could just as easily be this one
https://www.babiitalia.com/html/bi_pe.html
Either way, it's a babi italia crib.

My husband and I just ordered the Da Vinci Emily crib and dresser/changer combo in Espresso from the website below. The crib was ranked top on Consumer Reports and they have free shipping and no tax right now, so it only ended up costing us $558 for the set.
