Obviously your ped might tell you differently, but ours said nothing on the circumcision except for vaseline (which they gave us at the hospital) for the first few days and then just let it heal with the gauze. Also, they told us nothing on the belly button at all but water during the bath.
I also keep a pair of baby nail clippers and at my station - Mason is pretty content when I'm changing him and I can get a couple clips in every few days. Those little fingers nails grow so fast!! Don't use the clippers for the first couple weeks though, baby's nails are still too soft.
Also, Destin smells HORRIBLE and I found it didn't work at all (neither did the Aveeno cream). My sister in law bought me triple action paste and that works AWESOME and there's no smell.
We use a dresser as a table and have a tower of baskets beside that. So the top two dresser drawers contain diapers, wipes and spare changing pad covers. Since you're having a boy, you'll also want a bunch of washcloths to cover the penis during those diaper changes. I agree with PP that you only put vaseline on the circ. And most pedis say to avoid baby lotion for the first 6 months unless your baby has very dry skin. The second drawer contains footed sleepers, and you might want to keep extra sleepers or onesies around, again for those special boy diaper changes...
In the baskets I keep nail clippers, hand sanitizer, meds (for us it's zyrtec, tylenol, motrin, ear drops and whatever else he currently needs) thermometer, toothbrush and toothpaste, pen light to look for new teeth , butt paste, socks and other little things.
Of course you don't need all of this at first, but you asked!
Sounds like pp have covered it but I'll concur with the vaseline & gauze on circ so make sure to pick up some extra gauze. We have thermometer (vaseline for that too since we have a rectal one), alcohol pads to clean the thermometer off afterwards, nail clippers and a file, lots of washcloths to cover him up, extra changing pad covers, and extra prefolds to keep under his bum (DS would go again before I could get the next diaper under him!).
Everyone pretty much has it covered. I just wanted to add that our dr used a plastibel for the circ and we were told to absolutely not use vasoline on it because it could cause the plastibel to fall off. We didn't need to use anything on that, but we did use the alcohol and swabs for the belly button.
In addition to your list I would also have nail clippers, thermometer, nasal aspirator, hair brush/comb. And just in case you need them - nasal drops, gas relief drops, and Tylenol.
We keeps all of the stuff like thermometers, creams, etc in a little basket on top of a dresser.
And just wanted to add - be really careful with Desitin of A&D and your diapers. It's not a huge deal with prefolds and leaking like pocket diapers, but HOLY GUACAMOLE it stinks in the wash. I don't remember the science of why, but when it gets in the diapers and you wash them the fish oils are so horendous!! So definitely make sure you cut some fleece liners for them if you want to use it so that you don't have to worry about it.
Re: your infant changing table
I have a thermometer, one digital and one rectal.
I also have some little rattles and things in a basket for Chase to play with.
