While I love you, my sweet little puppy, it would be most appreciated if you would learn to poo outside in the grass. PLEASE for the love of God and all that is Holy, don't wait til you come inside and use the piddle pad. It's ok, I promise. Even though I have half a case of piddle pads, I won't be a bit mad if I no longer have a need for them.
Oh, and can you please sleep past 5am for once? Please?
Luv,
Lib
Re: Dear Ripley:
Let's try this again...
I'm not going to lie...My dh bought me an 8-week old puppy last year and the first two months we had her, I had a sobfest at least once a week. When I would come home from work, my kitchen was covered in piles and puddles of poo and pee. She ate the puppy pad, so we had to remove them. And then after going outside for 20 minutes, she'd come in and squat right on the carpet.
Then like magic, she just stopped pooing and peeing on my floor and wanted to go outside to do the deed. It was a wonderful day.
We put a dark blanket over our dog's kennel at night (kind of like what you do for a bird) and that seems to work for us. You may want to try that. Our boy sleeps until we wake him up no matter the time. It's great!
